• Join Vmaxtech or Vmax 'social' list or register at the V-Max Outlaw owners area - membership is free!

• Determine Yamaha OEM part numbers for those parts you wish to purchase.  An easy way to do this is by using the official Yamaha Motorcycle web site parts catalog diagrams recently added to the Yamaha web site - follow these steps:

1. Browse to Yamaha Motors web site here

2. Select Parts and Service drop-down menu and Parts Catalog from that menu

3. Once the Electronic Parts Catalog page pops up, select Motorcycle from the Catalogs drop-down menu and the Go button

4. At this point you can select any model year and then a specific model (VMX1200 V-MAX) to view parts diagrams and correlating part numbers. NOTE: There are 2 VMX1200 entries for each model year, the one with a 'C' is the California version.
