V-Max Las Vegas
September 12-14, 2003
This year about 20 bikes showed up for various dinners and rides we had planned. The Saturday ride to Mt. Charleston was excellent providing wide open roads, gentle sweepers, and beautiful scenery in the heart of the impressive granite Spring Mountain range about 45 miles NW of downtown Vegas.

A few of the riders and bikes at Mt. Charleston on Saturday
We dined on Buffalo, Elk, and Ostrich burgers at the Mt. Charleston Lodge (7,700ft.), and rode up Lee Canyon to the ski resort area at about 11,000ft. where a few of the V-Max hooligans had their chance to do some burn-outs. Later that night we had 27 event attendees meet up on the world famous Las Vegas strip for dinner and the event prize raffle at the Harley Davidson cafe. V-Max Vegas wouldn't be complete without our annual V-Max ride down the strip at night following dinner, and we topped the evening off with Vegas Bike Fest activities in the downtown area including a Steppenwolf concert. All in all this years event was lots of fun. Best of all we met some great new Las Vegas friends and fellow Vmax owners who helped make this event even more special.
