Filming of the Travel Channel Documentary
'Samurai on Wheels'

During our 2004 Topanga Canyon event in early January we met a production company who is in the process of filming an upcoming documentary for the Travel Channel called 'Samurai on Wheels' about Japanese motorcycles and the passion their owners have for the bikes. Production on this project, which is due to be aired later this year, has just begun and it is being taped in HD (high definition) format. Our group was given the opportunity to represent V-Max enthusiasts in the US for the project. On February 1st we met the production crew for a day of on location HD video taping in the Southern California coastal hills near Malibu just north of Los Angeles and at the Rock Store, a local biker hang out on Mulholland Drive in that area. Documentary is due out around November. |
